🔹 Financial Aid for U.S. Students

Franklin University is Title IV eligible, meaning U.S. citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov, using Franklin University’s school code: 003046.

✔Tuition  Fees

Tuition fees can be covered in full through a combination of federal financial aid options, depending on the student’s eligibility and application outcome. U.S. students are encouraged to explore all available support to minimize or eliminate out-of-pocket tuition expenses.

✔Living Expenses

Franklin’s programs are fully online and non-residential, allowing students to study from home or anywhere in the world.

For financial planning purposes, Franklin University estimates the following living expenses per academic term:

  • Bachelor's students: $7,900–$11,900
  • Master's students: $8,000-$12,000

🔹 Supplementary Funding: Private Loans for U.S. Students

While many U.S. students may qualify for federal aid under Title IV, some may need additional funding for living expenses, personal costs, or unmet study needs.

To bridge this gap, U.S. citizens and permanent residents may apply for private education loans through U.S.-based lenders.

✔ What Private Loans Can Cover:

  • Supplementary tuition not covered by federal aid
  • Off-campus housing and utilities
  • Books, equipment, or technology
  • Travel or relocation expenses
  • Health insurance and unforeseen medical costs

✔ Common U.S. Private Lenders Include:

  • Sallie Mae
  • Ascent
  • College Ave
  • Discover Student Loans
  • Citizens Bank

🔔 Important: Private loans are credit-based and may require a cosigner. Students are encouraged to compare terms, interest rates, and repayment options before selecting a lender.

✔ Private Loan Certification Process
Franklin University will certify loan applications for eligible students once enrollment is confirmed and financial aid status is established. Students should:

  • Apply through the lender's "School Certified" process
  • Select Franklin University as the institution
  • Ensure all required documentation is submitted promptly to both the lender and Franklin’s Financial Aid Office

🔹 Academic Support and Reporting

Franklin provides:

  • Dedicated online tutors and faculty access
  • 24/7 technical support
  • Career services and counseling
  • Regular reporting to NAU on student progress (with consent)

This ensures a smooth academic experience and keeps NAU informed of each student’s dual-degree progress.

🔹 Ethical and Academic Integrity

This partnership is designed with transparency and academic excellence in mind:

  • No hidden fees, forced loans, or exploitative enrollment tactics
  • No transfer of NAU MD credits to Franklin — each degree is awarded independently
  • Fully accredited U.S. degrees, suitable for employment or postgraduate study
