Student Loans for UK Students

It is designed for UK students whose tuition and living costs are funded by themselves or by a parent, guardian, or household supporter.

It does not require property as security and is approved based on the borrower’s credit history, income, and overall affordability. It can be used to fund both the Premedical and MD programmes at New Anglia University.

📘 Loan Coverage: What Can Be Included

NAU will certify your Cost of Attendance (CoA), which may include:

  • Tuition fees
  • Hospital insurance fees
  • Clinical rotation fees
  • Administrative fees
  • Health insurance fees
  • Housing
  • Food & utilities
  • Transportation
  • Books and academic fees

The certified CoA determines the maximum loan amount.

📆 How to Apply

Applications are made after the student is officially accepted. The NAU Admissions Office will support students by:

  • Preparing the invoice that will reflect the full CoA
  • Assisting with documentation required by the lender

The borrower will typically need:

  • Proof of identification
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of income
  • To provide Open Banking consent

Processing Timeline:
From application to decision and disbursement: typically 1–2 weeks, depending on the lender.
