To prospective students who wish to apply to the University, it is important to highlight that New Anglia University is not currently GMC-recognised. As per GMC policy for all new international medical schools, formal evaluation will take place only after the University undergoes the MSQR1 (Medical School Quality Review – Stage 1) process. This is the standard review pathway for universities whose graduates intend to:
- sit the PLAB examination, and
- practise medicine in the United Kingdom.
Our medical programme is delivered in accordance with WFME-accepted medical education standards, and we remain fully committed to meeting all requirements necessary for the GMC’s formal evaluation. The Dean’s Office, under instruction from the Provost, will begin preparing the MSQR1 submission immediately following our institutional accreditation.
For any questions regarding admissions, programme structure, clinical rotations, or post-graduation pathways, students are encouraged to contact our Admissions Office at admissions@newanglia.com.
